Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training is an optional extra which can be added to any bookings for the above courses at the special price of £25.
Electrical defibrillation is well established as the effective therapy for cardiac arrest, the most important determinant of survival being the time from collapse to delivery of the first shock. Today the widespread deployment of AEDs is considered a realistic strategy for reducing death rates due to heart disease. Knowing how to use one is of significant importance in saving lives.
The good news is that no previous experience is necessary and this qualification stands on its own and is suitable for anyone wishing to develop their basic life support skills.
